How to Create a Discount
1. Navigate to "Discounts" in the left-hand rail of your admin panel
2. Click the blue "Add Discount" button in the upper right-hand corner; this will open a pop-up with a single input for "Discount Name." Give your discount a name and click the blue "Add Discount" button to save
3. Once saved, click the blue pencil icon to the right of the new discount name to edit
*Helpful Tip: if you need to change your Discount's name, simply click the "Rename" icon to the right of the discount name.
4. In the edit Discount screen, you'll need to fill out each section. Let's take a look:
Bypass Connections
The toggle in the upper right-hand corner of the screen allows you to disable discounted orders being sent to your Fulfillers for fulfillment.
If yes, leave the toggle turned to "Off"
If no, switch the toggle to "On"
Codes
This will be where you create the name of the coupon code to pass on to your consumers.
A. Click the gray "Add Codes" button and input the coupon name in the "Discount Code" field
B. You can also add a "Usage Limit" here, which limits the number of times a coupon can be used by an individual or simply click the gray "Edit Usage Limit" button to do the same
C. Once done, hit the blue "Add Code" button to save
Duration
Choose the time period you would like your Discount to run. You can set the time periods for hours or days. To set an hourly discount make sure the From and To dates are the same
Discount
The "Discount" section is where you will dictate what Storefront (Marketplace) the discount should be applied to, and what type of discount it should be.
A. First, select the correct Storefront from the "Applies to:" dropdown:
B. Next we will select the Discount Type. There are five different Discount Types; let's take a look at each:
1. Category Discount
Take a dollar amount or percentage off products, set a Buy X quantity, get Y quantity for free, or offer free shipping, in a Product Category
Offer free shipping on a Category(s)
1. Select the Category(s) that should have free shipping
Take a dollar amount or percentage off of a Category(s)
1. Enter the Take Off amount
2. Choose your % or $ Discount
3. Choose the Category or Categories where the discount will be applied
Set a Buy X quantity, get Y quantity for free
1. Choose your Buy Quantity
2. Choose the Category(s) where the discount will be applied
3. Choose your Get Quantity
4. Choose whether you want to apply this discount to the same product or other selected product
5. Use the to select "of the same item" or "of any of the selected products"
2. Customer Discount
Take a dollar amount or percentage off products in a specific Consumer group
1. Enter the Take Off amount
2. Choose your % or $ Discount
3. Select the Consumer Group(s) where you would like the Discount applied
3. Order Discount
Take a percentage off of an order when it is over a certain dollar amount or order quantity
1. Enter the % or $ amount you want to take off the order
2. Enter Amounts where discount will take place
3. Enter Quantity of where discount will take place
4. Product Discount
Take a dollar amount or percentage off products or set a Buy X quantity, get Y quantity for free
Offer free shipping on Product(s)
1. Select the product(s) that should qualify for free shipping
Take a dollar amount or percentage off products
1. Enter the Take Off amount
2. Choose your % or $ Discount
3. Choose the Product(s) where the discount will be applied
Set a Buy X quantity, get Y quantity for free
1. Choose your Buy Quantity
2. Choose the Category or Categories where the discount will be applied
3. Choose your Get Quantity
4. Choose whether you want to apply this discount to the same product or other selected products
5. Use the to select "of the same item" or "of any of the selected products"
5. Bundle Discount
Apply a discount to bundled products; the discount can be a % or $ amount off, or a fixed cost.
Take a dollar amount or percentage off Products which make up Bundle
1. Enter the Take Off amount
2. Choose the Product or Products where the discount will be applied
Fixed cost for all products in bundle
1. Enter Take Off amount
2. Choose Product or Products in the bundle
Limits
Discount Limits allow you to set restrictions on the consumer's shopping cart meeting certain discount criteria
-Prevent using with other Discounts: this is a "yes" or "no" dropdown that determines if the discount can be used with other discounts
-Per User Usage Limit: limit how many times a single user may use this discount
-Total Usage Limit: limit on how many times in total a discount is used
-Per User Savings: limits how much in total a single user can have discounted on an order
-Total Savings: limits how much a single coupon can discount an order
