About Shopify Inventory
Enabling this App will allow you to automate syncing your inventory positions into Quivers from your Shopify store.
App Prerequisites
An active Shopify account.
A private app on this Shopify account, with access to its API Key and API Password.
If you do not have a private app created on your Shopify account with API credentials configured, you can take the following steps to configure this: -
Log in to your store as the store owner.
From your Shopify admin dashboard, go to the Apps from the side menu.
Click Manage private apps.
Click Enable private apps.
Read and check the terms, and then click Enable private app development.
After enabling private app development, you can generate new credentials for a private app. Follow these steps: -
After enabling private app development, the Private apps screen will appear. On this screen, click the Create private app button.
In the App details section, enter a name for your private App and a contact email address.
On the same page, in the Admin API section, provide read and write permissions for the following values:
Inventory
Product listings
Products
Scroll down; in the Storefront API section, select Allow this App to access your storefront data using the Storefront API.
Here select Read products, variants, and collections permission check.
When you are done, click on the Save button.
From here, scroll up again to reach the Admin API section. Here you can find API Key and Password. Copy these values and store them securely, so they can be added to the Quivers app to authorize us to pull your inventory positions.
To complete the setup of the App, you will also be required to provide your Store Name. This can be obtained with the following instructions: -
On the Shopify admin dashboard, click on the top right corner, where the Store user’s name is shown, and select the Manage Account option.
Go to the Stores, programs, and resources section. Here you can see your Store Name in bold; below it, there will be Store URL in <store name>.myshopify.com form. Copy the <store name> and save it securely. This is required for app activation.
Important Note:
